Q What can I do with online banking?

Q Will all of my existing payees be converted to payees paid electronically?

ANo. To setup a payee to be paid electronically, use the add payee wizard to search for the payee. If the payee is found, they can be paid electronically. Once the payee is added to the bill list, it's a good idea to inactivate the corresponding non-electronic payee to avoid confusion when making a payment.

Q I've searched for a payee, but I cannot find them. What should I do?

ASome payees are unable to receive electronic payments. Try using fewer words for the payee name and avoid using spaces and dashes in the account number. For example, searching for "cellular" will yield more results than "U.S. Cellular" and searching for "112233" will yield more results than "11-22-33." If the payee cannot be found, contact us to determine if the payee can be paid electronically.

Q In my bill list, how do I know which payees are paid electronically and which ones are not?

AA Electronic Bill Pay Indicator will appear in the method column next to the payee name for each payee that is setup to be paid electronically.

Q How long does it take for the payee to receive the payment electronically?

AThe typical length of time is 2 business days. Please schedule the payment at least 3 business days prior to the due date to avoid late charges from the merchant.

Q What can I do to protect myself while online?

ATo help maintain security, you should close your browser when you have completed your Internet Banking session. This will help prevent unauthorized persons from viewing your private account information.

Never share your password with another person. Keep your password secret.
